If you need information on the Scenic Drive course, check out the drive-through for Championship Circuit Event Ten, which will have some info on it. Just don't get pulled over three times, or you'll be arrested. The cops here will chase you, but they'll be far from tenacious, so getting pulled over shouldn't be a concern, although if you are, no worries, it won't cut into your time too severely. The roads here are fairly packed, so weaving in and out of traffic on the straight-aways and turns will be part of life for you here until you pass this easy event. Your biggest enemy on this event will be traffic, especially that of the oncoming variety. : Lotus Elise Delivery Track: Scenic Drive Type: Single Race Laps: Point-to-Point Prize: Unlock Hot Pursuit Events 2 and 3, and the Lotus Elise in all challenge modes. I just don't always mention them because I am striving to not sound redundant.) Even if I don't mention cops in an event's drive-through, you'll be sure to find them, so keep that in mind.
(Naturally, you'll meet up with cops in all thirty events here. The best way to destroy a cop car is to get him on your side, and ram him into on-coming traffic. You can attempt to ram cop cars into rocks, trees, barriers, bridges, and other cars. The cop cars can only take a little bit of punishment before they radio into headquarters that they are out of the chase (which you can hear). That's why it's vital to stay ahead of the cops! The third (and final time) you're pulled over in a single race, you'll be arrested, and that'll be the end of the race for you. The first two times, you'll get a ticket. This cuts into your time, stops you completely, et cetera, but the real concern is getting pulled over three times. If a cop manages to pull around you, next to you, et cetera, when you are stopped or going very slow, you'll be pulled over. These are easy to avoid, but on a crowded road, it's a different story. When you do, the explosion wills end your car in the air, spinning you out of control. Most of all, they drop odd explosives (similar to death charges used out at sea) to the ground, in an attempt for you to run into them. These helicopters are fast and highly maneuverable. It's your only option, anyway.įinally, a helicopter will be sent out. If you do run over the spike-strips, let the cops catch you so that your car is repaired when they let you off. You won't be able to go over 25MPH, and the cops will stop you.
And if you run over them, you are screwed. Set across a part of the road, they are easily avoided, but sometimes hard to spot. These are easily avoided as well, but as with the car roadblock, are hard to detect until it's too late (that's why you have to listen to the radio!) The explosives will slow you down big time, but shouldn't prove to be too much to handle. Secondly, a roadblock of explosives and cars will be employed.
